President:
Qualifications: Must be a junior or senior unless no members meeting this requirement are available.
Duties: Preside at meetings, organize a meeting agenda, provide a calendar of meetings for the membership, and oversee delegation of responsibilities to officers and members. The President shall also work with the Advisor to make decisions to benefit the chapter members.
Vice President:
Qualifications: Must be a junior or senior, if possible.
Duties: Assist the President, fill the President’s chair in his/her absence, direct the service project, check the tutoring center email and respond to requests, and provide reporting forms to members for maintaining a service record for each member’s service hours. The Vice President shall also work with the Advisor to make decisions to benefit the chapter members.
Secretary:
Qualifications: Must be 8th grade through high school.
Duties: Record and distribute minutes of meetings to be posted on the Honor Society website, maintain a book of contact information for projects, take responsibility for RSVPs for events, and create and maintain a membership roster.
Treasurer:
Qualifications: Must be 8th grade through high school.
Duties: Work with the Advisor to maintain financial records including the collecting and recording of all dues and take responsibility for Wells Fargo account and communication with the bank. All receipts and reimbursements will be administered by the Advisor and the Treasurer. Year-end records will be given to the Advisor.
Communications Chairman:
Qualifications: 8th grade through high school.
Duties: Write and submit articles to the Quest newsletter, send out announcements and reminders to the group, work with graphic design to advertise the Chapter, and prepare and perform presentations for the Quest Advisory board. Contact individuals for events.
